Details of Cacouna Energy Project Expected by Year’s End

Petro-Canada CEO Ron Brenneman this week told analysts that he expects the proposed Cacouna Energy terminal to be approved toward the end of 2006, and that details on cost and gas markets should be available before 2007. A Russian liquefaction project in St. Petersburg will supply the terminal; Brenneman said Gazprom’s involvement also will be clarified by the end of the year.
