PGW Ends Negotiations With Hess LNG

A PGW spokesperson says the company will still pursue its LNG terminal proposal for Port Richmond despite unsuccessful negotiations with Hess LNG. “We still remain committed to the development of an import terminal,” said Doug Oliver. He noted that the negotiations between PGW and Hess LNG broke down because they were unable to agree on a pricing structure, but affirmed that PGW is considering other options for an LNG import terminal. “It’s not that the project is not occurring, it’s just that these specific negotiations have ended.” Read more in yesterday’s Philadelphia Inquirer.
