Oxnard Chamber of Commerce Endorses Cabrillo Port Proposal

According to a press release issued today by BHP Billiton, the Oxnard Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors voted to endorse the proposed Cabrillo Port LNG terminal last week. “Our [Government Relations Committee] and the Board of Directors studied the Cabrillo Port project carefully, examining the benefits of having a reliable, safe and clean natural gas supply for business development and quality of life issues in Oxnard and how it helps meet long term needs for natural gas both here in our region and statewide,” said Nancy Lindholm, president and CEO of the Oxnard Chamber of Commerce. BHP Billiton says it welcomes the endorsement.
