Analyst Predicts “Little Natural Gas” for U.S. Next Winter

Francisco Blanch, senior commodities strategist at Merrill Lynch, says that European price premiums will continue to pull LNG cargos from the U.S. market in the coming winter. Blanch also suggests that both markets need to increase storage capacity, saying that “only a higher level of inventories will help to cushion unexpected supply or demand shocks on both sides of the Atlantic Basin.” Read more in today’s Lloyd’s List.
