Broadwater Officials Discuss LNG Project at Property Owners’ Meeting
Broadwater Energy representatives presented a bleak energy outlook to attendees at a meeting held by the Madison Property Owner’s Association, speculating that natural gas shortages will occur by 2010 or 2011. “We need to meet high natural gas demand because it is the cleanest burning fuel,” said Broadwater’s Gary Hale. “Employers are not staying in the Connecticut area because of the high cost of energy. The Connecticut energy cost determines job creations and growth, and keeping our young people in Connecticut.” Conn.
