Repsol Declines to Renew Supply Contract With Shell

A supply shortage has prevented Spain’s Repsol YPF from renewing a two-year contract with Royal Dutch Shell to deliver Trinidadian LNG to Cove Point, Md. Market observers say companies who have business interests in Spain, including BP and Gas Natural, were looking for gas shipments last month to meet contractual commitments.
