Decreased Resistance to Proposed Sound Energy Solutions LNG Terminal

The planned LNG terminal in Long Beach, Calif. is receiving comparatively less opposition than other previous projects planned for the state. According to today’s edition of the Los Angeles Times, the Long Beach City Council has not expressed a stance yet on the proposal, and resistance from local communities has subsided. However, the California Public Utilities Commission still contends that a regasification facility at the Port of Long Beach would be hazardous to people living in the vicinity.
