The recent political ad campaigns of the Fall River mayoral candidates feature accusations that each has not done enough to fight the Weaver’s Cove LNG proposal. Incumbent Edward M. Lambert Jr. alleges that his opponent F. George Jacome has done “nothing at all” to counter efforts to bring the regasification plant to the city. Jacome says in his radio ad that Lambert should have exercised eminent domain to halt the plan. Details are in today’s Herald News.
