Canadian Energy Board Grants LNG Canada 40-Year LNG Export License

LNG Canada Receives B.C. LNG Facility Permit

LNG Canada announced today that the British Columbia (B.C.) Oil and Gas Commission has issued an LNG Facility Permit for LNG Canada’s proposed liquefaction and LNG export terminal at Kitimat, B.C.  LNG Canada stated that the permit, which focuses on public and environmental safety, is one of the key permits required for the construction and operation of the proposed project, and LNG Canada is the first B.C. Eagle LNG Files Status Report for Jacksonville LNG Terminal

Eagle LNG Partners Jacksonville LLC has filed its monthly report on the status of the development of its proposed liquefaction and LNG export terminal along the St. Johns River in the City of Jacksonville, Florida.  Eagle LNG stated that in December 2015 it entered into an agreement with CH-IV to provide Front-End Engineering and Design (FEED) activities for the project and has completed a technical evaluation that will enable Eagle LNG to increase the overall capacity of the facility from 900,000 gallons/day to 1,500,000 gallons/day of LNG.  Eagle LNG expects to file draft Resource Report...

FERC Grants Pre-Filing Procedures for G2 LNG Export Terminal

FERC has issued a letter granting G2 LNG, LLC’s request for initiation of pre-filing environmental review procedures for its proposed liquefaction and LNG export terminal on the west bank of the Calcasieu River in Cameron Parish, La.  The order states that G2 intends to file a formal application for the project in July 2016.

Status Report Filed for Corpus Christi Export Terminal

Corpus Christi Liquefaction has filed a report with FERC covering construction at its LNG export terminal in Corpus Christi, Texas.  The report states that engineering has progressed to 92.1% complete, procurement has progressed to 39.6%, and construction has progressed to 1.4%. The total project has progressed to 27.7% complete.

Sabine Pass LNG Files Construction Status Report

Sabine Pass LNG has filed a report with FERC on the status of construction of its LNG export terminal in Sabine Pass, La through November 2015.  The report states that Stage 1 (Liquefaction Trains 1 and 2) overall project completion is 96.9% against the scheduled plan of 98.7%.  Stage 2 (Liquefaction Trains 3 and 4) engineering and procurement are 100% complete and subcontract and direct hire construction work are 51.1% and 51.5% complete, respectively.
