The Albany Democrat-Herald (Ore.) offers an editorial today advocating the approval of several LNG regasification terminals proposed along the Columbia River. Citing diminishing Canadian gas supplies and rising gas costs, the editorial cautions readers that they “must not allow theoretical fears and unreasonable objections to overshadow the real benefits that would accrue to consumers and industries from having a more plentiful, and thus less expensive, supply of natural gas.”
