The Australian reports on the regulatory review process for BHP Billiton’s proposed Cabrillo Port LNG terminal offshore California, indicating that BHP Billiton expects California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger’s decision on the project no earlier than first quarter 2007. Federal consistency review of the project is also scheduled for early 2007.
