British Columbia Residents Desire Government Opposition to LNG on West Coast
The Tyree (British Columbia, Canada) reports that some residents of British Columbia would like to see the Canadian Government oppose the development of LNG terminals on the west coast as it has opposed several projects on the east coast. The residents cite Canada’s objection to LNG tanker traffic in the Head Harbour Passage in New Brunswick compared to Canada’s lack of opposition to LNG projects on the Pacific Coast.
