Bangor Daily News: Premier Graham’s concerns regarding LNG “not without foundation”

An editorial carried by the Bangor Daily News recognizes that New Brunswick “Premier Graham’s concerns about the safety from LNG tankers … are not without foundation” and expresses concern over Maine Governor Baldacci’s approach to LNG siting. The paper notes that Maine’s next governor should work to “identify[] sites where LNG or some other fuel might be safely imported,” and advises that Maine should “continue to extend a hand of partnership to New Brunswick” despite disagreement over LNG vessel traffic issues.
