Virginia state legislators plan to introduce a bill that would make energy terminal siting more feasible, a measure intended to provide the state affordable energy supplies. If passed, the legislation would give Virginia’s State Corporation Commission the authority to determine which locations are ideal for such facilities and to waive local zoning regulations for terminal developers.
