Residents who attended the August 1 Coos Bay City Council meeting expressed concerns regarding the potential safety, economic, and environmental impacts of the proposed Jordan Cove LNG terminal. Other attendees decried the perceived lack of involvement on the part of local political leaders in the review process and requested that additional forums be held to facilitate community dialogue about the project.
