Texas LNG Brownsville Authorized to Export LNG to FTA Nations

The U.S. Department of Energy has issued an order authorizing Texas LNG Brownsville LLC to export over a 25 year term 204.4 Bcf/year of domestically produced LNG by vessel from its proposed LNG terminal at the Port of Brownsville, Texas to nations with a Free Trade Agreement (FTA) with the United States.

Sabine Pass Requests FERC Authority to Begin Train 1 Commissioning

Sabine Pass Liquefaction, LLC and Sabine Pass LNG, L.P. have filed a request with FERC for authority to introduce fuel gas in order to begin commissioning activities for Train 1 and the Outside Battery Limits at its liquefaction facility and LNG export terminal in Cameron Parish, La. at the earliest time possible.
