Petronet LNG Signs Preliminary Agreement for Main Pass Hub LNG Supplies

The Economic Times reports that Indian gas company Petronet LNG has signed a preliminary agreement with United LNG to buy 4 million tonnes of LNG per year for 20 years beginning in 2018. The LNG will be supplied from the Main Pass Energy Hub, a joint venture of United LNG and Freeport McMoRan Energy LLC, located in the Gulf of Mexico.
