Kitimat Investment Decision Pushed to Year’s End

The Calgary Herald reports that Encana Corp. chief executive Randy Eresman said that an investment decision on the Kitimat LNG project has been delayed until the end of 2012 to allow the project sponsors time to secure one or two gas buyers to become equity partners in the project.

Golden Pass Withdraws Request Regarding Applicability of Pre-Filing Procedures at FERC

Golden Pass LNG Terminal LLC withdrew its request at FERC for a determination that the company’s proposal to re-export previously imported LNG from its Sabine Pass, Texas, terminal is not subject to FERC’s pre-filing procedures. The filing can be found in FERC’s eLibrary under Docket No. CP04-386.
