An editorial carried by the Providence Journal argues that the U.S. senators who sent a letter last month to their colleagues asking them to restrict the use of federal funds to complete the regulatory review of the Weaver’s Cove LNG import project should allow the review process to continue.
Separately, the LNG Threat Committee, a local group opposed to the Weaver’s Cove LNG project, expects its second Congress of Councils to take place the week of January 26, 2011. Read more in the Jamestown Press.
