The Savannah City Council is seeking additional information regarding the proposal to transport LNG via truck from the Elba Island LNG import facility. Bruce Hughes of Southeast LNG, the company that would be responsible for the trucking operations, told the Savannah Morning News that his company is ready and willing to meet with city officials regarding the proposal.
