Sabine Pass LNG Files Implementation Plan with FERC for Re-Export Project

Yesterday Sabine Pass LNG, L.P. filed an Initial Implementation Plan for its LNG re-export proposal. The Plan is available in the FERC eLibrary under Docket No. CP04-47.

LNG Industry in Sabine Pass Moving Forward

The Beaumont Enterprise provides an update on the status of the LNG terminals located along the Sabine-Neches Ship Channel, including the Sabine Pass and Cameron terminals as well as the Golden Pass LNG terminal, which is under construction.

Gazprom No Longer Considering Investment in Rabaska LNG Terminal

Platts LNG Daily [subscription required] reports that Gazprom Chairman Alexei Miller said late last week that his company is no longer contemplating an investment in the Rabaska LNG import terminal. Miller notes that Gazprom remains interested in access to other North American terminals.
