4Gas, the firm developing the MapleLNG regasification project, told the Chronicle Herald (Halifax, Canada) that it is focusing on Central Canada as the target market for its imported natural gas. Speaking at an event last week, MapleLNG General Manager Derek Owen said that his company plans to use some of the existing natural gas pipeline infrastructure, but noted that “there will have to be some new pipeline pieces.”
