Local Unions Express Support for Weaver’s Cove LNG Terminal

The Providence Journal (R.I.) reports that two local labor unions have announced their support for the Weaver’s Cove LNG terminal planned for Fall River, Mass. Local 51 of the Plumbers-Pipefitters-Refrigeration union and Local 610 of the Construction and General Laborers union both have expressed their support for the project recently. A spokesperson for Weaver’s Cove told the publication that he had contacted the unions about making their support public.
