Despite slowing LNG imports during the past two months, the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA) expects the LNG import sector to continue its upward trend over the rest of 2007 and 2008. In its Short-Term Energy and Winter Fuels Outlook, EIA predicts year-on-year growth of 44.5 % for LNG imports in 2007 and 19.7% for 2008.
