In the event that the U.S. Supreme Court rules in favor of Delaware regarding its border dispute with New Jersey related to BP’s proposed Crown Landing LNG terminal, New Jersey Gov. Jon S. Corzine believes that the terminal can be designed to avoid Delaware’s jurisdiction. A spokesperson for BP, however, expressed reservations about having to proceed with an alternative design plan for the facility, noting “it would essentially start the permitting process over.” Read more in Today’s Sunbeam.
