New Brunswick Premier and Maine Governor Discuss Proposed LNG Terminals
New Brunswick Premier Shawn Graham and Maine Gov. John Baldacci on Friday signed a memorandum of understanding intended to foster cooperation on energy matters. The officials also discussed the Quoddy Bay and Downeast LNG terminals proposed in Maine. “[W]e requested intervener status at the upcoming FERC hearings to make sure due process is followed, and environmental concerns on LNG tanker traffic through Head Harbour Passage ha[ve] been addressed,” Graham said.
