The Baltimore Sun reports on another legislative attempt to stop AES’ proposed Sparrows Point LNG terminal. The proposed measure would add LNG facilities to the list of prohibited uses along the Chesapeake Bay. According to the county’s attorney, the measure is distinguishable from the county’s previous law, which was overturned by a federal judge in January. A consultant for AES criticized the bill as an attempt to “selectively zone.”
