California Lieutenant Governor Is a “Concerned Skeptic on LNG”

California Lt. Gov. John Garamendi says he will take a more active role than his predecessors did in formulating public policy for California, according to syndicated columnist Thomas D. Elias.  Elias says Garamendi has a great opportunity to exercise his power as a member of the California Lands Commission to influence energy infrastructure development, including LNG terminals. Without taking a position on a specific terminal or issue, Garamendi indicated that he is “a concerned skeptic on LNG.”  Elias’ piece is carried by The Daily Breeze.
