USCG Restarts Timeline for Offshore Massachusetts LNG Projects

The U.S. Coast Guard yesterday restarted the project clock on two LNG terminals proposed for offshore Massachusetts. The agency had suspended the timeline in July, after the Massachusetts Executive Office of Environmental Affairs requested additional information regarding alternative terminal locations and energy sources, as well as the potential impact of the terminals’ construction on the fishing industry.
