Oregon Environmental Officials Concerned About Industrial Impact on Columbia River
The Daily Astorian reports on a town hall meeting held in Astoria, Ore., by the state’s Environmental Quality Commission. According to the coverage, the discussion was dominated by concerns regarding the “industrialization” of the Columbia River, and specifically, the proposed Bradwood Landing LNG terminal. It was suggested by one Commission member that the Department of Environmental Quality review the potential cumulative impact of a number of proposed energy projects on the Columbia River, including four LNG terminals.
