The National Commission on Energy Policy has issued a white paper elaborating on the needs and challenges of siting LNG terminals in the United States. The report raises a number of key issues, including the possible ramifications of concentrating LNG development in the Gulf Coast region and whether a regional approach to siting LNG terminals is effective.
