Open House Attendees Raise Concerns Over Jordan Cove LNG Project
About 300 people attended a Jordan Cove Energy open house event Monday night, where project representatives answered questions about the company’s plan to build an LNG terminal in Coos Bay, Ore. Oregon newspaper The World surveyed 36 attendees and found that about one third remained undecided on the project, while the rest had concerns about safety, the impact of vessel security zones, and the proposed pipeline route from the terminal to California.
