The president of the Alabama Seafood Association says that environmental groups’ attempt to prevent LNG development in the state, based on “guesses” regarding the potential impact on fishing, will increase energy costs. “If you are against LNG, you are for higher energy prices,” said Peter Barber. His op-ed is in Saturday’s Mobile Register.
