Consultant: Regulatory Hurdles and Asian Demand Impact U.S. Efforts to Acquire More LNG

Speaking on gas prices at a conference on coalbed methane, Don Warlick of business consulting firm Warlick International said that public opposition to terminal siting, and market competition that draws supply to Asia, will prevent LNG imports from affecting US gas prices for at least the next several years.
