FERC Says Blumenthal Hasn’t Filed CEII Request

In a letter dated March 13, FERC Chairman Joseph Kelliher dismissed Connecticut Attorney General Richard Blumenthal’s claims that he had filed requests to access CEII information regarding the Broadwater LNG proposal. “The Office of External Affairs, the office responsible for receiving information requests (including CEII requests), as well as the General Administrative Law section of the Office of General Counsel, the office responsible for processing such requests, has no record of any request from you seeking this information,” Kelliher said. He also added that Blumenthal’s requests for CEII information in the future “will be processed properly and expeditiously.” The letter is available in the FERC e-Library in Docket CP06-54.
