An editorial in yesterday’s Long Beach Press Telegram criticized the Long Beach City Council’s threat to end negotiations with Sound Energy Solutions. The paper says the demand is “a bit awkward” because the politicians who are running for next month’s election have focused their campaigns on the potential safety threats of SES’s LNG proposal and not the income generated by the project.
