Connecticut Transportation Organization Says Broadwater Application Incomplete and Requests New Comment Period
In a letter dated March 3, 2006, South Western Region Metropolitan Planning Organization, a federally designated transportation planning organization in Connecticut, says that Broadwater Energy’s pre-filing application is incomplete because it does not contain specific information on safety and security that was requested by FERC and the USCG. As a result, SWRMPO is requesting that FERC initiate a new public comment period when the application is deemed complete in accordance with the Energy Policy Act of 2005 and updated 18 CFR Part 157, the latter of which requires that a pre-filing application include “all the information specified by the Commission staff after reviewing the draft materials filed by the prospective client.” The letter is available in the FERC e-Library in Docket No. CP06-54.
