Connecticut LNG Task Force to Issue Broadwater LNG Report Today

The Hartford Courant reports that Connecticut Gov. M. Jodi Rell’s Long Island Sound LNG Task Force will release a study today on the Broadwater LNG proposal. According to the task force’s website, Sens. Len Fasano (R-North Haven) and Andrea Stillman (D-Waterford), along with other task members, will hold a news conference to address questions on the report and any steps the group might take in the future. While task member Sue Eckert declined to discuss the report, she said, “I don’t think Long Island Sound is the proper place” to site an LNG facility. [Access to archived articles requires a fee.]
