Altamira LNG Terminal to Come Online Soon

Mexico’s 500,000 Mcf/d Altamira LNG terminal is expected to come online in a few months, according to Alfredo Elias Ayub, the director-general of the Federal Electricity Commission. “In a couple of months – perhaps three or four – Altamira will be receiving the first shipments of LNG from Nigeria and Qatar,” Ayub said yesterday at a press conference.
