AES Hires Former National Security Advisor Richard Clarke
The Associated Press today reports that AES has hired terrorism expert Richard Clarke in support of the company’s bid to construct an LNG terminal in Outer Brewster Island. Clarke is expected to testify before the Joint Committee on Telecommunications, Utilities and Energy next week in support of the proposal. “He has studied and will be reporting on the public safety profile of Outer Brewster Island as an LNG facility,” said Rob Gray, a spokesman for AES Battery Rock LLC.
