Environmental Group Protests Philadelphia City Council’s Decision on Resolution

PennEnvironment yesterday issued a press release expressing regret over the Philadelphia City Council’s decision to put on hold a resolution opposing PGW’s plans for an LNG terminal in Port Richmond. “PennEnvironment is disappointed that City Council failed to recognize the public safety threat posed by LNG, and left the door open for PGW’s dangerous energy plan,” said Nathan Wilcox, an energy advocate with the environmental group.
