G2 LNG Notifies FERC of Proposed LNG Project

G2 LNG has filed a letter notifying FERC of its proposed liquefaction and LNG export terminal with a peak capacity of 14 million tonnes/year to be located on the west bank of the Calcasieu River, La. between mile markers 3 and 4.  The letter states that G2 LNG will soon request that FERC initiate the pre-filing environmental review process for the proposed project.  G2 LNG states that it intends to commence construction in the 4th quarter of 2017 and to place the Project in service in 2020.
