FERC to Prepare EIS for Venture Global Plaquemines LNG Project

FERC issued a notice of its intent to prepare on environmental impact statement (EIS) for Venture Global Plaquemines LNG, LLC’s proposed Plaquemines LNG Project consisting of liquefaction and LNG export facilities on the west bank of the Mississippi River in Plaquemines Parish, La. The Plaquemines LNG Project would provide total liquefaction nameplate capacity of about 978 Bcf/year of natural gas. Comments on the scope of the EIS are due November 4, 2015.
