The Alaska Gasline Development Corporation, BP, ConocoPhillips, ExxonMobil, and TransCanada have signed an agreement to begin the next phase of the Alaska LNG Project. During this phase, the parties will design and develop a gas line for the transportation of LNG. The Alaska LNG Project will now apply for an export license from the Department of Energy.
