Canada Stewart Energy Group Files for National Energy Board LNG Export License

Yesterday, Canada Stewart Energy Group (Stewart) filed an application with the Canadian National Energy Board to export 1475 Bcf/year of LNG over 25 years from a proposed land and floating liquefaction facility near Stewart, British Columbia.  The Project will be capable of producing 4.04 Bcf/day of LNG and will be supplied by a proposed 800 km pipeline connecting Stewart’s Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin gas supplies.  Stewart states that off-take supply agreements have been signed with energy groups in two major cities in China.
