Local Mayor Offers Support to Kenai LNG

The Anchorage Daily News reports that Mayor John Williams of the Kenai Peninsula Borough (Alaska) said that closing down industrial facilities, such as the Kenai LNG export terminal, is only a temporary solution to the region’s predicted gas supply shortage. Williams told the Resource Development Council’s annual gathering that shutting down industrial facilities to conserve gas is “short-sighted and reactionary.”
