| Samsung Named Preferred Bidder to Develop Jamaican LNG Infrastructure |

The Gleaner reports that the Jamaican government has chosen South Korean company Samsung as the preferred bidder to develop a floating LNG storage and regasification unit and gas distribution pipeline on the island. The government's LNG committee will now begin negotiations with Samsung.
