Woodfibre LNG Receives Favorable Environmental Decision

The Honourable Catherine McKenna, Canada’s Minister of Environment and Climate Change, announced that the proposed Woodfibre LNG export terminal (Woodfibre), located near Squamish, British Columbia, is not likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.  The Environmental Assessment Decision Statement on the project establishes legally binding conditions, including mitigation measures and follow-up requirements which Woodfibre must comply with over the life of the project.  Read more in The Globe and Mail article.
