Alaska Governor Seeks to Buyout TransCanada from Alaska LNG Project

The Alaska Dispatch News reports that Alaska Governor Bill Walker will ask state legislators to exercise an option to buyout TransCanada Corporation’s 25% pipeline share of the Alaska LNG project, which involves construction of an 800-mile pipeline and LNG terminal to access North Slope gas supplies for export.  North Slope producers BP, ConocoPhillips and ExxonMobil are the other sponsors of the project.
