Pacific NorthWest LNG Announces Conditional Final Investment Decision

Petronas-led Pacific NorthWest LNG (PNW LNG) announced that the required technical and commercial components of its proposed liquefaction and LNG export terminal on Lelu Island, near Prince Rupert, British Columbia, have been satisfied.  PNW LNG stated that it has resolved to move forward with a positive Final Investment Decision (FID) on the project, subject to two conditions: the first condition is approval of the Project Development Agreement by the Legislative Assembly of British Columbia, and the second is a positive regulatory decision on PNW LNG’s environmental assessment by the Government of Canada.  The FID will be confirmed by PNW LNG partners once the two conditions have been resolved.  Read more in the Financial Post article.
